Nepal - A Low Trek

November 29th - December 14th, 2010
$2595.00

This hikers dream takes you into the heart of Nepal and offers the chance to interact with its people and their culture. We’ll leave from Pokhara and climb century old foot paths on a loop trail where you’ll see amazing mountain scenery and all you carry is your daypack. You’ll climb through terraced rice paddies and lush forests before coming out on a ridge with the Himalayas spread out in front of you. Picture yourself awakening each morning to a cheery Namaste (a local greeting), hot tea and warm wash water. Since this is a low trek, the temperature will be comfortable into December.

After the trek you’ll head south to Chitwan for three days where you’ll stay at the elegant Tiger Tops Tent Resort. There you’ll ride an elephant or two, see one horned rhinos and explore in the jungle.

Then it’s back to Kathmandu for two days for a cooking class and time to explore the surrounding area.
